I am a geographer and visual storyteller. My passions lie at the intersection of maps, design, and storytelling. In 2012 I founded Maps for Good, a visual storytelling team that produces one-of-a kind maps and digital media for better-world initiatives. I am dedicated to leveraging geospatial data and evolving technologies to meet the challenges of the changing environment. I believe that a map serves not only as a tool for navigation but a canvas for telling a story and bringing a place to life. A map should connect people with places through beautiful, informative, and inspiring cartography.
